About Omar Khan

Omar Khan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Ruh, a mindfulness app that integrates psychology with Islam, aiming to revolutionize Islamic Psychology by harnessing the power of technology. Previously, as an Advisory Product Manager at IBM, Omar led their flagship business analytics product. Leveraging design thinking and infusing AI in product features, he set a milestone as the youngest product manager to achieve a fast-track promotion in the team’s 30+ year history. He holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto and a B.Eng in Computer Systems from Carleton University, Ottawa.

He was part of the Canadian Delegation to the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance and has served as a lead volunteer with several non-profit and charitable organizations. Omar continues his commitment to volunteering as a Mentor for both MAX and Somali Education Fund (SEF), a City Ambassador for Yaqeen Institute and supports the marketing team for the Ottawa-Gatineau COVID-19 Relief initiative.
